It uses Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy (2.4 GHz). The Smart Sock will not receive interference from home alarms, cell phones or other electronics. The Base Station also uses WiFi to communicate through your internet to our cloud.
Owlet products are not compatible with 5GHz WiFi.
